This Flavored Coffee and Tea Flavoring mixture can be used to add flavor and aroma to coffee beans prior to grinding. When brewed, the fragrance calls out to the coffee lovers in your home or office "Drink Me!"
How to use:
To flavor one pound of coffee beans, place the beans in a jar with a lid and add 1 level teaspoon of Best Flavors Coffee & Tea Flavors, then mix thoroughly for several minutes. Cover the jar, and keep it sealed for 24 hours. This allows the flavor to soak in and some of the alcohol to evaporate. After 24 hours, just grind your flavored beans and enjoy your coffee! When applying to dried herbs or tea leaves, we recommend using a spray bottle to better distribute the flavor over your entire product.
Ingredients: Organic and natural Flavors, Vegetable Glycerin, and Ethyl Alcohol.
Best Flavors Flavors for Coffee and Tea (Coffee and Herbs Flavoring System) are Kosher, Vegan, and contain no allergens, and are gluten and sugar free.
Diacetyl is a main flavor agent in the starter cultures used to make butter, according to a report by the National Toxicology Program. Minute amounts of the compound are also naturally present in milk, yogurt, cheese, coffee, honey and most fruits. Because diacetyl is a natural product of alcohol fermentation, it is often found in beer and wine. Diacetyl may be hazardous when heated and inhaled over a long period. It has been linked to a high prevalence of acute lung disease in industrial workers that handle the flavoring.
